Products I Regretted Buying & Products I'm Extra Glad I Have

While I was browsing through several beauty blogs, I've noticed that most beauty bloggers have posted a worst/best products of 2008...since I just started blogging last year, I 'll just give you guys a lowdown on everything I've regretted buying and everything I'm extra glad I have, since I started using makeup...

PRODUCTS I REGRETTED BUYING

*The Face Shop Gel Liners - not at all creamy... doesn't apply easily... tugs on the lids... 

*Smashbox Jet Set Eyeliner - super ripped off! same reason as above

*Smashbox Eye & Lip Primer - ripped off again! not creamy... too dry for the lids so it tugs... make my lips really dry and enhance the lines on my lips...probably just use this for swatching

*Philosophy On a Clear Day Set - didn't do anything on my skin... gave me more blackheads than ever!

*Philosophy Shelter - it stings on the eyes

*Philosophy Supernatural Foundation - I like the packaging and how it gave me a glowy  airbrushed look even when just applied with the puff it came with, but made my skin produce oil like mad! My skin was never oilier than when I use this...

*Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara - I call it my stupid mascara since it does nothing but clump my lashes and put mascara on my lids! I hate the wand and hate the formulation too! I've cursed the moment this mascara was invented! I can't even use this for my brows!

*Revlon Eyelash  Curler - it fits my eye shape but all it does is pinch my lids and crimp my lashes... hate this!

*Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer - though I've heard many good reviews with this... it made my skin greasy and it's a bit heavy for me...just gave it to my sister since it works for her

*DiorShow Mascara

*NYX Jumbo Pencil in Purple - ever since I got this I like to use it everyday! But I'm afraid I'm gonna run out of it...

*NYX Megashine in Sweet Heart - loove this color! Thanks again Pau!

*MAC Fluidlines and Clinique Brush-On Cream Liner - y'all know how much I love creamy gel/cream liners

*Smashbox brush #28 from the Encounter Set - applying liners with these baby is a breeze!

*MAC lipsticks - love all my MAC lippies!

*MAC Dazzleglass in LoveAlert - my fave lipgloss ever!

*MAC Mineralized Blush in Merrily - love the color.. my fave MAC blush

*MAC Pigments - love the MAC Pigments than the MAC pressed shadows...Too bad they're expensive here and the normal size one is too much to last me one lifetime and another LOLz...MAC should sell all the pigments in mini sizes like the one in their Little Darlings...

*MAC e/s in Ambience (Not sure about the exact name but it is the 2nd shadow of the 2nd column in the holiday 2008 smokey palette; Clinique e/s in Portabella is a good substitute) - apply all over the lid not passing the crease

*MAC e/s in Scant - apply in the tearducts and the crease to the browbone

*Clinique Brush-On Cream Liner in True Black - line the upper lashline

*NYX Jumbo Pencil in Purple - line the lower lash line

*Shiseido Mascara Base (Look at my lashes on my upper lids...Tell me what you think...)

*DiorShow Mascara - I've applied just a single coat of this mascara

Need your opinion about the DiorShow and Shiseido Mascara Base combination...

Swap Haul / Gifts

Another package came today! And this one's from Pau! Thanks Sis! Luveet!

I was expecting just 2 Nyx jumbo pencils, few glosses, and eyebrow stencils...

*Love the NYX Megashines! These aren't sticky nor goopy! Plus the colors are gorg!

I also love the bubblegum scent in the glosses!

*Amuse Eyebrow Shadow and Stencils - The stencils are great! The powder isn't matte as it says on the box, actually it's shimmery...It's quite too brownish for my brows, but I like the color as an eyeshadow...

*NYX Jumbo Pencils - Loooove this stuff! My favorite out of all the goodies! These babies are soo creamy and the colors are sooo beautiful...It glides on easy on my lash lines, lids, and waterline... No eye irritation...Great for lining and as a base... Love this stuff! I don't have anything that glides in my eyes as smoothly as this does! If you have some NYX Jumbo Pencils lying around collecting dust, don't be shy to send it to me! Just Kidding! Or Not! LOLz!

Guess what I got?

I received a small package yesterday from Korea...but when I opened it...BAM! It was full of goodies...The box has a humble size but to my surprise it contained soo many things...This has the most number of items I've got in one package...

Here are the things I've paid for - meaning they've also send me freebies!... From L to R....

Skin 79 Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Function in Hot Pink,  Missha BB Cream in Silver Tube, BRTC Perfect Recover Balm...I'll give some to my mom as a birthday gift since her birthday is coming...then I'll just ask for some for review :P

Here are the freebies they sent me! It's a freebies galore! They also sent me full sized items - the fifth picture above...I haven't tried anything though... But I'll definitely review these once I've test drive these goodies!

Collective Haul = NARS + Shiseido

So, I dropped by Rustan's Essenses before heading to the drugstore and these are what I bought...

*NARS Blush in Mata Hari - its a vivid rosy pink...I just don't know if it's a matte blush since when I look closely look there are few silver flex scattered...I find this pretty...

*NARS Single Eyeshadow in Fuji - its a mossy/camouflage green with shimmers... I love this color...its really pretty...It reminds me of MAC e/s in Humid...

*GWP in Sweet Dreams and Dolce Vita Duo Lipgloss

*Shiseido Mascara Base - I haven't tried this yet but heard lots of good stuff about it...I'll update once I've tried this...

I actually got a NARS lipgloss duo too, but the SA gave me the wrong one so I asked my aunt if she could return it for me...I somehow forgot to checked it again...I think she just based the products with how it looks not on the label...I was watching a movie when I decided to checkout the things I bought and when I opened the box...I saw that I got the wrong one...I wanted the Harlow/Sweet Dreams Duo but the SA got me the Pampa/Stolen Kisses duo...bummer...
