Beauty Bar Haul

Here's are the things I got from Beauty Bar: Prestige Lipsticks ( in Glitz, Risque, and Wicked), Skin Alison Raffaelie Soft Gloss in Demure, and Smashbox Single Eyeshadow in Smashing Snow.

First up is the Smahbox Single Eyeshadow in Smashing Snow. It's a shimmery white color, it's quite powdery but it's smooth and pigmented. It's pretty eyeshadow, and it's quite different from the other shimmery white eyeshadow. I got this for just 425 pesos.

Next is the Skin Alison Raffaele Soft Gloss in Demure. It's a creamy peachy pink gloss. It's not sticky and smells like real vanilla or white chocolate, unlike the synthetic vanilla scent in other glosses which are icky! However, it doesn't last long-  btw I haven't found a "regular" gloss that's long lasting. One of my fave gloss. From the original price of 1100 pesos, I got this for a measly 437.25 pesos!

These are the Prestige lipsticks in Risque, Wicked, and Glitz. Prestige offers beautiful shades of lipsticks in affordable price. A tube just cost 295 pesos! It's long lasting, moisturizing, and light weight. The ones I bought have a pearly finish; but other finishes are offered as well. I found two set backs with these lippies: first, I can't apply it with a lip brush, instead of placing colors to my lips, the lipstick clings to the brush instead. It also doesn't fill-in the lines of your lips, so you need to work the lipstick more to your lips. Risque is a natural rosy color. Wicked, OMG is so beautiful! It's my perfect red lip color! I really looks good on me, plus I love the pearly finish. It reminds me of Viva Glam IV from MAC, but leans on a burgundy, wine, and reddish tone rather than the pinkish rosy tone. Glitz is a beige pink color. The color is not similar to the bottom of the tube. When you put on Glitz it's like a retro pink, and a great partner for Oyster Girl Lipglass

The Face Shop Haul

I love the moisturizer since its oil-free and the skin absorbs the cream quickly. I wish it provides sun protection, then it would become the perfect moisturizer. The moisturizer has a sort of a mixture of  green tea and light fruity scent- I'm quite sensitive with fragrance but it didn't bother me at all and I'm actually liking the scent. I've test run the product and so far so good! It didn't gave me acne or other skin problems, and in fact when I used it I noticed that my face was brighter. I also do have a very oily skin, but when I used this product I noticed that my face isn't oily anymore- so I'm definitely impressed with this! I've experimented with it, and applied an extremely amount of the moisturizer in my face to see if my face would feel greasy, but to my surprise it didn't! So it's quite fool proof. When I applied my mineral foundation, my face didn't look cakey, powdery, or blotchy like other moisturizer does. In my opinion it's even better than Clinique Dramatically Different Mosturizer (Lotion/Gel). Go ahead and buy yourself one! I think it cost about 600 pesos correct me if I'm mistaken, but even if it cost 2000 pesos I would still buy it! I would definitely repurchase.

Unfortunately, I still haven't used the Herb Clear Lip & Eye Make-Up Remover. I'll update you guys once I've tried it. It's basically two solution an oil based clear one and green water-based solution. You'll need to shake it to make an emulsion, then wipe away!

The two Black Label Eyeshadows I got are: 05 Gold Yellow and 07 Space Blue. The eyeshadows aren't chalky at all and the texture is actually nice. However, it's not pigmented as I want it to be, but it's free so no reason to complain. The 05 Gold Yellow is light yellow gold color and the 07 Space Blue is sort of a sky blue with golden frost. I don't like it. Would I purchase one? Answer is no. I could find more pigmented eyeshadows that's worth the bucks. You'll see what I mean if you look at the swatches. I've swatched the eyeshadows with the Urban Decay Primer Potion to see if it will help make the eyeshadows more vibrant, and it did but still not as intense as I would like it to be. I'll make a review of the UDPP soon!
