Post Christmas/Early Chinese New Year Haul

So I just got home from watching Bridewars! It's super entertaining...a bit of a laugh here and there then got teary in the end...its a fun and feel good movie...Next on my list is Marley and Me... Look what I got!!!! Super excited!!! Thanks to my aunt for these lovely goodies... without her I wouldn't get these lovely stuff!!!
Origins Go Smooth Set: I've used this one and I'm liking this! It smells a bit herby and citrusy... Some of my pimples dried up after using this! But the corner of my nose stings a bit when I used this..but still I like it...and it really brightened my face...I saw an immediate brightening effects..

Makeup Goodies: Black Up Eyeshadow Palette, MAC Studio Fix Fluid, MAC Studio Fix Powder, MAC Select Cover Up Concealer, MAC Eyeshadow in Trax and Sketch, MAC Macroviolet, MAC Pigment in Sweet Sienna

I noticed that NC 25 to 30 is too yellowy for me so I told my aunt and she totally grabbed me a new foundation, powder, and concealer!!! Now I'm damn sure I'm more of a NW girl than a NC... Though I'm kinda 75% NW and 25% NC so I'll probably just custom mix...
Black Up Eyeshadow Palette... this baby is pigmented and it comes with super good quality brush! love the brush! It isn't crappy like all the other brushes that comes with eyeshadow palettes... For all who doesn't know Black Up, it is a French brand... May buy the other variants if I'm not broke anymore! This palette cost about $60 here pretty steep though...
MAC Eyeshadow in Trax and Sketch.. in person this two look very much alike but when you swatch it.. its totally different.. The MAC website says its a burgundy plum with bronze flex... but no its not! It may look like that when you see it in person but when you apply it or in the camera you can see its just not burgundy what i can say is its more pinkish purple... Sketch is a total love of mine! You probably already know I'm a sucker for burgundy plum shadows...

Hmmm... MAC Pigment in Sweet Sienna.. OHHH.... I got really excited when I saw this!!! Its a purplish gray with golded flecks...I've been lemming this for the longest time!!! And I just noticed that some pigments contains about 4.3 grams while others contains 7.4 grams...Is this a problem or am I just getting paranoid? LOLz
MAC Fluidline in Macroviolet... its soo pretty and its fluidline...do I need to say more? Y'all know how I'm super addicted with fluidlines!

And here are swatches of the eyeshadows...

Collective Haul w/ Swatches and Mini Reviews

I went to the mall the other day and here's all the makeup products I bought...

I bought 3 new mascaras: CG Lash Blast, Maybelline XXL Mascara, CG Las Blast Waterproof... I heard good reviews with these mascaras so why not try them out...anyways I'm looking for an alternative to my DiorShow...It's getting expensive chucking away DiorShows for several months and buy new ones...I haven't tried any of the three yet...I'll do reviews when I've tried 'em...
I also bought 4 ELF empty compacts/palettes, where I could press my pigments...
Since I'm running out of my trusty old pal, L'Oreal Eyes and Lips MakeUp Remover, I bought Maybelline MakeUp Remover just to try how good it is compared to L'Oreal...
I bought some stuff from PAC... Eyebrow Kit, haven't tried this yet but will review this once tested...Pigments in Electric Purple (Vibrant deep purple) and Neto (Bright Mid-tone Blue)...it's really pigmented and the texture is finer than MAC Pigments...It's a bit expensive than MAC too, but PAC has a lot of colors to choose from; so if you didn't find a color that you want from MAC, check the PAC Pigments....It was swatched without a base above...
From SkinFood: Bought 2 Aloe BB Cream (One is available for a swap...just contact me) I like this one for its coverage but haven't tested this out for its oil control...I'll keep you updated...Next, is the All Over Muffin Cake Finish in Strawberry Honey Muffin(Raspberry pink with rosy pink and cream veinings and gold pearl finish) ...this one looks similar to the MSF's and loove this stuff...so pretty...it reminds me of strawberry and cream ice cream yum!...It gives your cheeks a uber pretty glow...this one can pass off as a blush...great highlighter look how the light reflects with this...I'll get the Gold Banana Muffin, next time...it's also pretty..it's a peachy bronzy one...It also comes with an super duper soft brush!!! Go buy one now! I'm in love with this!
From the Kanebo counter: I bought a Kate Glamtrick Eyeshadow Palette in GN#1, two Coffret D'Or Party MakeUp Collection palette #1, and one Coffret D'Or Party MakeUp Collection palette #2.
I like the Kate Glamtrick Palette, love the colors but the colorpay off is more on the buildable side...I swatched it without a base, so you can see that it's  color payoff is sheer buildable, so use a good base for a more vibrant results... The blackened green eyeshadow is practically the same as the NARS e/s in Night Porter...So I'm happy with this buy! And does anybody has a palette like this one? Since I noticed that the silver one (the one with the question marks in the photo above) has a different texture...I think its not powder...It's like a cream shadow or a gel liner??? Can anyone tell me what it is???
This one is the Coffret D'Or Party Collection palette in #1...I bought two of this (why? I'll tell you later)...The packaging is soo pretty...It contains 3 e/s and 3 lippies with e/s applicator and lippie applicator... This one is more pigmented than the Kate (sorry I swatched it poorly)  but its still pretty much on the buildable side...The middle e/s is not really an e/s but I think its more of a pressed glitters/shimmers...BTW swatched it without a base so a good base would really make a difference...The left most e/s is a frosty pastel pink, the middle is gold glitters/shimmers, and the right most e/s is a frosty midtone purple...
This the neutral version of the #01 palette...also contains 3 e/s and 3 lippies...The left most e/s is a peachy beige color, the middle one is again like a pressed glitters/shimmers than a e/s...the right most one is a taupey beige black...The color pay off is buildable...Swatched it without a base...Same packaging as the #01 one palette except that the rhinestone in the middle row is amber rather than pink...

Swap Haul / Gifts

Another package came today! And this one's from Pau! Thanks Sis! Luveet!
I was expecting just 2 Nyx jumbo pencils, few glosses, and eyebrow stencils...
but instead she sent me these much stuff!!!
To see my side of the swap click HERE
(I somehow forgot to swatch NYX Round Gloss in True Red)

*Love the NYX Megashines! These aren't sticky nor goopy! Plus the colors are gorg!
I also love the bubblegum scent in the glosses!
*Amuse Eyebrow Shadow and Stencils - The stencils are great! The powder isn't matte as it says on the box, actually it's shimmery...It's quite too brownish for my brows, but I like the color as an eyeshadow...
*NYX Jumbo Pencils - Loooove this stuff! My favorite out of all the goodies! These babies are soo creamy and the colors are sooo beautiful...It glides on easy on my lash lines, lids, and waterline... No eye irritation...Great for lining and as a base... Love this stuff! I don't have anything that glides in my eyes as smoothly as this does! If you have some NYX Jumbo Pencils lying around collecting dust, don't be shy to send it to me! Just Kidding! Or Not! LOLz!

Pau thanks again for these lovely goodies!

shu uemura Haul

I recently went to my nearest shu uemura counter and got these shu uemura drawing pencils in 07 ME Green and 13 ME White

I've already tried these two, as you can see at the picture above. And I love it! Both have a metallic finish, but matte finish drawing pencils are available as well. The texture is really smooth, and doesn't tug your eyes. Eyeliner application is a definite breeze when using these, since it glide so smoothly. I have sensitive eyes, but these babies doesn't irritate my peepers at all. Plus, it's weightless too. Another good thing with these babies, that these doesn't contain paraben, but have cottonseed oil and jojoba oil that nourish the skin around the eyes. I also have oily lids but these babies last about 8 hours without smudging. I've swatched the liners below, but it's far more vibrant than what the picture shows. Bottom line: The shu uemura drawing pencils are great! Applying eyeliner would be an ease with these babies. You can expect ultra-smooth application with intense, vibrant, and quite long lasting results! I would definitely purchase more!

The Face Shop Haul

I love the moisturizer since its oil-free and the skin absorbs the cream quickly. I wish it provides sun protection, then it would become the perfect moisturizer. The moisturizer has a sort of a mixture of  green tea and light fruity scent- I'm quite sensitive with fragrance but it didn't bother me at all and I'm actually liking the scent. I've test run the product and so far so good! It didn't gave me acne or other skin problems, and in fact when I used it I noticed that my face was brighter. I also do have a very oily skin, but when I used this product I noticed that my face isn't oily anymore- so I'm definitely impressed with this! I've experimented with it, and applied an extremely amount of the moisturizer in my face to see if my face would feel greasy, but to my surprise it didn't! So it's quite fool proof. When I applied my mineral foundation, my face didn't look cakey, powdery, or blotchy like other moisturizer does. In my opinion it's even better than Clinique Dramatically Different Mosturizer (Lotion/Gel). Go ahead and buy yourself one! I think it cost about 600 pesos correct me if I'm mistaken, but even if it cost 2000 pesos I would still buy it! I would definitely repurchase.

Unfortunately, I still haven't used the Herb Clear Lip & Eye Make-Up Remover. I'll update you guys once I've tried it. It's basically two solution an oil based clear one and green water-based solution. You'll need to shake it to make an emulsion, then wipe away!

The two Black Label Eyeshadows I got are: 05 Gold Yellow and 07 Space Blue. The eyeshadows aren't chalky at all and the texture is actually nice. However, it's not pigmented as I want it to be, but it's free so no reason to complain. The 05 Gold Yellow is light yellow gold color and the 07 Space Blue is sort of a sky blue with golden frost. I don't like it. Would I purchase one? Answer is no. I could find more pigmented eyeshadows that's worth the bucks. You'll see what I mean if you look at the swatches. I've swatched the eyeshadows with the Urban Decay Primer Potion to see if it will help make the eyeshadows more vibrant, and it did but still not as intense as I would like it to be. I'll make a review of the UDPP soon!
