Review: The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder

If you read my previous post, you'll know that I was looking for a matte bronzer.
I was strolling in the mall when I passed by The Body Shop.
I happen to see the display of their latest collection, the Honey Bronze Collection.
Since I wanted a matte bronzer, I decided to get the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder.
I chose the shade #02 Fair Matte, since I wanted a shade just slightly darker than my skin tone for a more natural look and to avoid "muddy" look.

Here's the review:

Pros:
  • The compact looks stylish and upscale
  • The compact reminds me of the Guerlain Terracotta Bronzers
  • Mirror included
  • 4 shades catering to different skin tones
  • Gives a soft matte finish
  • Soft and smooth texture
  • Good pigmentation
  • Not powdery
  • Blends easily
  • Doesn't look heavy in the skin
  • Doesn't look cakey even when applied heavily
  • Doesn't accentuate imperfections
  • Gives a bit of coverage
  • Looks natural
Cons:
  • Expensive (1100 pesos). You can add just a few more hundred bucks for a MAC bronzer.
  • Will form a crust on top of the powder over time. (You have to make sure that the brush you're using must be completely dry and void of moisture, and avoid double dipping!)
  • The compact doesn't feel sturdy
  • Some may want a bronzer with a teeny bit of sheen
Here are some swatches:
