Holiday Lemmings and Things I wish to receive this Christmas!

Here's a list of the things I'm lemming for this Holiday and the things I wish to receive for Christmas:

1.) Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas Galliera GM - I've been lemming for this for about a year now. I was planning to get this one early this year but opted for the Never Full in Monogram Canvas. But now I'm really getting one! I think I'll be able to buy this as early as this Friday or early January. It pretty much depends if there'll be a bag that will catch my eye from Marc Jacobs, Gucci, or Prada, since I'm contemplating whether to take advantage of the 45% discount on Marc Jacobs, Prada, and Gucci handbags for American Express Platinum Cardholders this Friday. Unfortunately, LV isn't included.

2.) MAC Adoring Carmine Lip Set - I would love to get all three, but I'm sure to get the Red Lips Set.

3.) MAC Little Darlings Coral Lipglass and Lusterglass set - I like the Pink set too, but I don't love it.

4.) MAC Little Darlings Soft Sparkle Pencils - I'm still having a dilemma whether to get this or not since it's really a steal, it cost about about 1,900+ Php for 5 eye pencils; but I don't think I need this.

5.) MAC Fluidline - priority: Silverstroke (I already have this, but I really love it so I'm stocking up. It's also a limited edition.) I love, love, love fluidline, and I can't express how much I'm head over heels with this product. I'll get more and more and more.... in different colors!

6.) Laura Mercier Lip Colour in Creme Truly Red - I think this will be my perfect red! I'll check Rustan's if they have it.

7.) YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Lipstick in Taboo Red - Can't you tell I'm a sucker for red lipsticks!

8.) ThermaClear - I'll surely purchase one on January. This will be my ultimate weapon for 2009!

9.) MUFE Mat Velvet Liquid Foundation - I've heard so much good reviews about this, I'll buy one once my Clinique foundation is finished. I really have oily skin, and I still haven't found a foundation that won't melt once I get oily. I hope this will be the end for my search for my perfect foundation. The only foundation that kept up with my oily skin is Revlon Color-Stay Liquid Foundation, but I don't like the consistency and it's feels heavy.

10.) NARS lipstick and blushes - I just love NARS blushes and lipsticks, I won't leave Rustan's without atleast 1 NARS blush or lipstick.

11.) EDM in FAIRLY LIGHT & BEIGE NEUTRAL in Original Glo- This is my everyday foundation. When I started using EDM, my skin was healthier and I get that perfect flawless look. 

12.)Any Oil-Free Moisturizer with atleast SPF 15 that isn't greasy.

Nars Orgasm Dupe

As promised I'll reveal a Nars Orgasm dupe and here it is! It's the L'oreal Blush Delicieux in Pink Grapefruit. They're pretty much identical except for the shimmers. Nars Orgasm has golden shimmers while the L'oreal one has silver shimmers. You couldn't pretty much tell the difference, even the MA at the Nars counter thought the L'oreal was the Nars Orgasm.

Due to uneven lighting in the photo they look a bit different, but in person both looks identical. But still as you can see even with uneven lighting in the photo, both still looks pretty much the same.

Holiday Lips-Second Pick

My second pick for the holiday red lips is the combination of M.A.C.'s Viva Glam IV lipstick and Lip Pencil in Beet.

The Viva Glam IV is such a lovely color in general. It's a rosy shade with golden frost. I know it's not a real red, but that's when the Lip Pencil in Beet comes in. Beet has real vivid pinkish red shade. Put Viva Glam IV and Beet together and the result? one stupendous rosy red lips! This is one of the best lipstick-lip pencil combo I've tried! Great not just for the holidays but for an intense evening out as well!

Nars Haul & Review

I went to Rustan's Makati last Monday for a back to school shopping and got some NARS Cosmetics! I technically got these for free, since I've used my accumulated Rustan's E-Purse to pay for these.

I got the ever famous, always out of stock, cult fave, NARS Orgasm blush and the moisturizing, creamy, pigmented, one of the best reviewed product, NARS Lipstick in Promiscuous. Both have rubberized casing which I prefer than plastic type. Both looks classy, and expensive.

The Nars Orgasm blush is basically a peachy pink hue with golden shimmer. I chose this from Super Orgasm, because the Super Orgasm is quite too chunky for me since that one has more shimmer.

I really like the color, just the right amount of pink and peach color and not too shimmery. It  stayed true to its promise of giving its user a look of a healthy glow from the inside. It pretty much brighten your look, giving you that radiant, natural flush in your cheeks! What impressed me the most is the fact that it's really long lasting. I apply this 6am in the morning before school and when I checked out my face in the mirror when I got home (about 6pm), the blush hasn't faded. I agree that Orgasm is a universally flattering shade and basically everyone could use it and look fab! I've also heard this is a makeup artists' fave even for dark skin tone since the color really shows up and I really does look good on every one! Though I've found a much affordable alternative or "dupe" for the Orgasm, so I don't think I would buy another one for a long time. The "dupe" is basically identical with the Orgasm, I'll keep you hanging first and talk about the "dupe" soon.

The Nars Promiscuous Lipstick is of a creamy tan color with golden shimmer. I love how th creamy tan color works perfectly with the golden shimmer. It gives your lips some mystery, something others would ask you about. Pair it up with a pale or pinkish beige lip liner for that perfect nude lips that everyone desires with an umphh! It's long lasting and moisturizing, and fragrance-free. It's a really lovely color! The lipstick also fills in the lines on your lips, so there's no weird lines going on. But what's great about it is it fades evenly and doesn't give you that concentrated color on the lines of your lips, so no weird lines going on still. LOL. It has a better quality than MAC lipstick, but don't get me wrong I love MAC lippies however it just came second to Nars lippies- however not based on colors since MAC  have a wider variety of colors than Nars and both offer different shades so it wouldn't be fair to consider the colors. Go check it out! You'll love it! 

Bottom line: Nars blushes and lipsticks are worth every bucks! Both are long lasting and I just can't find any flaws. The blush has a smooth texture, give a nice even  application which means no streaking or blotchiness. The lipstick's texture is what I describe as the "ideal", it's perfect, smooth, creamy, non-oily feeling, and moisturizing. The lipstick is the best I've tried based on texture, application, emollience, moisturizing quality - not considering the color since I only have one shade of Nars lipstick. I would definitely buy more of Nars blushes and lipsticks. You should too! 

Holiday Lips

The holiday is quickly coming, there's no other faster way to get that holiday look than by popping on a red lipstick! At least once every week until the first week of December, I'll feature different lipsticks great for the holiday season! I'll also post several eye looks that will complement the lipsticks. 

My first feature is the shu uemura Rouge Unlimited Crystal Shine Lipstick in rd 165s. This shade fit its other name, "Universal Red", since it's truly is universal. It looks divine on every skin tone! This lipstick would give your lips a unique cherry shade, that would make you look like you've been biting your lips! Another great thing about this lippie is that it literally melts in your lips for a super smooth application. It's also feather-light and give your lips a beautiful shiny effects. What's more is it's moisturizing and when the color fades it doesn't give you a weird look, since it fades evenly and will give your lips a reddish pinkish tinge. You can use this for everyday since it's buildable, so you have the option to change the level of intensity from sheer sweet cherry lips to intense and dramatic red lips.
